Jaye Meyer
was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1990. She received her B.A., cum
laude from Wake Forest University and her J.D. with high honors from the
University of North Carolina, where she served as editor in chief of the
North Carolina Law Review.
Ms. Meyer's
practice is limited to family law. She is certified as a Family Law
Specialist and is a Certified Family Financial Mediator.
Ms. Meyer is listed in Best Lawyers in America. She has served as
secretary of the North Carolina Chapter of
AAML. Ms. Meyer is a past chair of the Family
Law Council and is also current chair of the North Carolina Bar
Association Family Law Section CLE Curriculum Committee.
Ms. Meyer is
a frequent CLE speaker. She also is a regular contributor of case law updates
and feature articles for the Bar Association's Family Forum newsletter. Her
hobbies are marathon running and yoga.
