Gena Graham Morris
is
licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is a North Carolina State Bar
Board certified specialist in family law. She has served on the Family
Law Council of the North Carolina Bar Association and was chairman of its
Public Relations committee. She is also involved with the Family Law
Section of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
Ms.
Morris was recently granted Fellowship in the American Academy of
Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), the national organization that encourages the
study and elevates the standards in the practice of matrimonial law.
Ms. Morris is one of only 29 attorneys in the state of North Carolina to
have been selected for this honor.
Gena
Morris was honored by Best Lawyers in America with inclusion in its
select directory this year. Ms. Morris was also selected by Law &
Politics Magazine as a 2007 and 2008 North Carolina "Super Lawyer" for
Family Law.
Ms.
Morris volunteers with the Guardian Ad Litem program in contested custody
cases.
